19th-century French plaster herm statue of a boy 39¾"

From a private collection in the south of France, a nineteenth-century French plaster herm statue of a boy. This statue was done in the herm style with flat sides to the column base. The boy wears a head wreath adorned with acorns and pine straw. The piece rests on a square pedestal base. A delightful piece to grace the corner of an entry or living room with a touch of antique French design and refinement. Note as seen in detailed photos there is a chip to the front left corner. 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
