19th Century French Provincial conscience jug with six handles

This superb 19th Century French conscience water vessel has six handles that were used for threading through rope for carrying. The yellow / orange glaze is wonderfully timeworn and the balloon shape most attractive. Most likely from Provence. There is an inscription in the glaze.
