From the French Alps (Savoie region), this gorgeous little nineteenth-century soup or porridge bowl "porringer" is finished with pretty blue and brown glaze on the outside and pale yellow on the inside. It has two horizontal pointed handles at the top. A lovely piece to display in the kitchen or a vitrine for a touch of French country flair.
