19th century French Tisaniere - Paris

This porcelain Tisaniere dates to the 1880’s. There are four parts to the teapot. There is an opening where a small rectangular cup is inserted which was illuminated to keep the tea warm. The teapot sits on top. Minor wear and heat marks underneath the teapot reflect its age and use.
