A rustic antique French verdigris cooking bowl with handles from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century. Probably used for preparing glace fruit ('fruit confit') - a traditional sweet from Provence. It would be nice hung on a wall with other cooking pots to add a touch of French country charm to your kitchen. Decorative use only - not foodsafe. Note the dent on the side in photos.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
