A Restauration Style mirror, dating back to the 19^th century. The original glass features a lovely aged patina. This type of mirror was traditionally displayed in a living room or bedroom of wealthy French families.

The Restauration period in France was between 1814 to 1830. The Bourbon regime lead France’s economic recovery following Napoleon’s defeat at Waterloo. It was also a prosperous period for French literature and arts.
