This circa 19th century library ladder is beautifully handcrafted and in exceptional condition, this is a very special piece.

63" high, 20" wide, 46" deep when open and 6" deep when closed
160cm high, 50cm wide, 117cm deep when open and 15cm deep when closed

Made from Larch (meleze), a deciduous conifer which is found in the mountains of central Europe. The timber is a lovely honey colour, preserved with beeswax polish. The hinges have been beautifully crafted, with great attention to detail.

This ladder looks as fabulous as a statement piece in a bedroom as it does in a library and can carry considerable weight.
