This Louis Philippe mirror has a chapeau gendarme frame with a decorative crest above recently repainted in a gold colour. There is a pretty running pearl detail on the inside and the mirror features a beveled edge. The mirror was most likely replaced in the 1920's.
There are two small rests on the bottom of the frame making it suitable to use on a mantle or floor-standing. Dating to circa 1850's it has some wear to the frame and age spots to the glass that is consistent with age and use. Refer to photos.
