A lovely antique Italian "garde manger" or "pantry" cabinet from the nineteenth century. Likely from the mountain region in Italy, the wood is pine and the painted patina is original. This hutch with two hinged mesh cabinets which open upwards is very practical for storage in the kitchen or in a dining room to add a classic European touch to your dining and pantry organization and experience. There are great places for storage on the two upper shelves above the mesh cabinets and below where there are two drawers, a large opening which could have a shelf added in the middle, and a two-door cupboard below. The two drawers below the mesh cabinets offer a great opportunity to store for cutlery, kitchen utensils, or linens to keep them safe from dust.  Note photos for conditions of knobs which have worn over time but are still functioning.
