19th-century Moustier blue & white tureen & serving tray

Dating from the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century, this lovely large blue and white earthenware tureen and its serving tray are marked by the celebrated Moustier faience atelier of France. Note the lovely shape and delicate blue motifs typical of the Moustier style. This would be a stunning set to decorate a cabinet or serve as a centerpiece on a dining room table. Note the wear to glaze around the edge of the tureen as seen in photos.
