A Provencal, yellow-glazed terracotta pot featuring a wide lip and handle dating from the 1800s. Sometimes referenced in the French Languedoc region as a "grand plat de fatigue" or "sick pool", this handy piece was made to use while a person was sick. Today, it would make a terrific addition to a collection of antique French pottery, or used as a unique catch-all piece on an entryway table.
