19th-century French sculptor's oak tripod stand 43¼"

SKU: 17353

US$1,971
Dating from the end of the nineteenth century, France, a lovely triangular sculptor's table. The oak frame is a tripod shape to hold weighty marble or clay sculptures in the making. It features a central adjustable wooden rod which allows you to remove the square top completely as shown in photos. This would be a beautiful piece to serve as a display stand for a piece of sculpture or books in the corner of living room, perhaps with a spotlight. Not the solid repair in the center top as seen in photos.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
