A rare wall-mounted terracotta cutlery holder from the late nineteenth century, it was made in the village of Manosque. It has timeworn yellow glaze and hand painted ocher decoration that is in the shape of sprigs of rosemary. This could also be used for storing cut herbs or flowers. A rare find.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
