This bulbous, large nineteenth-century antique French terracotta water pitcher features a single handle and a doigtier chain pattern around the rim defined by pressing fingers into the soft clay. Today, this charming floor pot / vessel still features its wonderful rustic patina with matte charred tones and some exposed raw terracotta tones. It would be the perfect addition to a collection of pottery or to stand on its own as an individual conversation piece. From Burgundy, France.
