19th-century terracotta pot/pitcher from Burgundy 14¼"

This bulbous, large nineteenth-century antique French terracotta water pitcher features a single handle and a doigtier chain pattern around the rim defined by pressing fingers into the soft clay. Today, this charming floor pot / vessel still features its wonderful rustic patina with matte charred tones and some exposed raw terracotta tones.
