This lovely water pitcher or 'gargoulette' dates from the nineteenth century. The marbelized glaze is known as jaspé with pale yellow, green and brown. A typically Provencale water pitcher that would look lovely displayed with a collection of antique French pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
