Dating from the late nineteenth-century, these adorable little wicker baskets were made for dolls, modeled on the designs used by adults at the market and for 'gouter' or afternoon tea. They are from the south of France. These would look wonderful displayed in a children's bedroom or on open shelves with books and other decorative accents.
