Dating from the 1950s, these three bird-like water pitchers are from Vallauris and Drôme, the swirling pattern in the glaze is called Jaspé. One has a fault from the oven firing under the beak but is not broken. These will animate a vignette or kitchen shelf with their life like silhouettes.
