Dating from the nineteenth century, these three French cowbells were worn by dairy cows in the French Alps (the Savoy). They are made from forged iron and bronze alloy. Two have timeworn leather collars. One is branded by the blacksmith Devouassoud Chamonix 5.  

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Approx. overall 6¼" to 9½" high, shortest is 6" wide
Approx. overall 16cm to 24cm high, shortest is 15cm wide
