A very rare collection of three newel caps from the nineteenth-century. They all date from the nineteenth-century - blown from opaline (opaque glass), auraline (uranium glass), and mercury glass. The collars are brass, note that the green doesn't have fixing plates underneath.
Four photographed - three available - the blue is excluded.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
