An uncommon and remarkable set of four silver-plated bowls from the nineteenth century. These vessels were awarded to naval servicemen to commemorate their service. They have embossed badges inside with interesting motifs, phrases, and lettering composed of a heavier metal. There are hall marks underneath the bowls.
This set of bowls have an intriguing past and lovely curved shape and proportions.
They can be used as a vide poche or could be framed together for an original display.
