A set of 6 extra-tall 19th-century French altar candlesticks 60¾"

SKU: 16878

US$4,208
These six extra-tall altar candlesticks date from the nineteenth century, France, and were likely used in a church to decorate a table. The bases are made from gilded bronze with ivy leaves to the lower half of their fluted columns. The bronze has a lovely verdigris patination from oxidation over time. The upper tapered candlestick-shaped portion features a white painted metal finish. This set would make an exquisite antique French addition to decorate your table with dramatic height and artisan craft.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
