This superb landscape painting is dated 1970 and signed Pascalet in the bottom left. The focal point is the bright yellow sun reflecting off the clouds, water and scrub in the foreground. A superb painting that will complement both contemporary and classic interiors. Acrylic on paper framed behind glass in oak. Pierre Pascalet was a French painter born in Toulon in 1915 and passed away in 2000. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Toulon, which laid the foundation for his artistic career.

Pascalet is renowned for his landscapes, particularly his views of the Provence region, including the picturesque Saint Cézaire sur Siagne in the Alpes-Maritimes. His works often feature vibrant, impressionistic depictions of rural and coastal scenes.
