This is a beautiful oak drop-leaf gate-leg table of antique English heritage and excellent quality.

The fixed section of the table top is of a good size. When not in use as a dining table, the beatiful-shaped leaves hang by their sides. In this closed state, it would function well as a side table or a place for informal meals. The timber is a rich blond oak color and the carved spiral detail of the legs give the table some formality.

This is a classic item from the late-nineteenth century that would bring a characterful and slightly old-world feel to an interior. It would work well in a compact dining room, living space, or study where extra table (or work) surface is sometimes useful.
