This superb blown glass garden cloche dates from the nineteenth century. Could be transformed into a suspended light fitting (upside down) or displayed on a console with precious collectibles inside. Originally used in a potager as a portable glass house to help vegetables (lettuce, melons, etc.) ripen and protect them from rodents. Some wear - refer to photos.
