Discovered one weekend brocanting at L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this handsome antique French bookcase stood for years on the landing between Patricia’s and Walter’s offices at Chanteduc, housing their precious books. A particularly personal piece from their Provençal home, it speaks to the importance of reading and writing in both their lives.
Constructed in two parts, it features twelve glass-fronted compartments with lift-up doors above nine spacious drawers. Warm wood tones, visible grain, and a molded cornice give it an understated elegance, while the neatly arranged compartments lend a pleasing sense of order. Ideal for a library or study, it offers generous space to display treasured books and collections, with practical storage below.
