This exquisite French bookcase dates from the 1900s. Made from elmwood with a recently applied paint finish that is charcoal externally and off white in the upper section behind glass doors. It is made in two separate parts - the top vitrine simply sits on the lower sideboard. A classic piece that is perfect for storing and displaying books, curiosities and collectibles. Woodworm has been treated and ongoing treatment with a suitable product may be required.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
