Antique French bronze Auguste Caïn "Coq Sur Un Panier" Sculpture - match stick holder

This unusual bronze sculpture of a crowing rooster on a basket is signed by the French sculptor Auguste Caïn (1821-1894). His large scale works can be seen in Paris at the Luxembourg and Tuileries gardens. Originally designed to hold match sticks.
