A superb French carved bull’s head dating from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century. This beautiful decoration was most likely displayed in a butcher’s shop or on a butcher’s block and is made from carved oak. A lovely decorative piece for a farmhouse kitchen.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
