A classic French confit pot from the late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century with green glaze. It was displayed in the living room of Chanteduc, Patricia and Walter Wells' farmhouse in Provence. 

Patricia loves confit pots. They are beautiful and have many uses - she uses them as wine coolers, cachepots or displays them with other pieces of Provençal pottery. 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
