This antique French confit pot dates from the late nineteenth-century. Originally used for making preserves. The glaze is orange / ocher with some matte burgundy and a little green. It has a lovely timeworn patina. A hole has been made in the base as it was probably used as a flowerpot at some point.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
