A superb Louis XVI style oval mirror from the 1900s. A pretty wreath at the top is balanced with low slung garlands across the face for the mirror. The frame is gilded wood with plaster motifs. The mirror is beveled and in lovely condition. A charming addition to a powder, bath or children's bedroom.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
