Antique French honey pot - Biot style - 3¼"

This charming honey / jam pot dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. The form is evocative of terracotta olive jars from Biot. A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery. If using as a vase, as the outside of the pot is unglazed, we recommend a watertight container be put inside as condensation can form on the outside of the pot.
