Antique French Iron Garden Guéridon w/ Rust Patina - 28" x 24¾"

This early-20th-century French iron garden guéridon has a simple round top set on a slender three-legged base with gently curving supports. The legs are joined midway by a flat circular stretcher, while the lower sections extend into a broad three-pointed footprint that gives the table stability without making the structure feel heavy. The painted finish on the base has worn extensively over time, revealing traces of pale paint, earlier green and areas of rust, while the darker top has a more uniformly oxidized surface with lighter rubbed patches and marks from use. Its different finish and character suggest that the top may be a later replacement, though it suits the guéridon perfectly.

The table has the easy, unpolished character of old French garden furniture, with its light frame and darkened top creating a simple, graphic silhouette. Compact enough for a terrace or conservatory, it could also work indoors as a side table, plant stand or small drinks table, where the weathered surface would bring texture and a sense of age.
