With a color reminiscent of the changing leaves in fall, this delightful burnt orange/cider-brown glazed cylindrical jam pot dates from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century in France. A lovely addition to a collection of French pottery. Probably from Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie - a village known for pottery (hence the name).
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
