A rare, salvaged, early twentieth century enamel cast iron lid with a country scene titled 'Promenade du matin' with a horse. This translates to the morning walk. This was probably used as a lid to put over a hot stove after it has been used, it could also have been a table top.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
