Antique French lidded butter dish w/ light yellow glaze -Le Cachet France 6¼"

Dating from the late-nineteenth century, this charming little lidded dish is perfect for butter, pâté or fois gras. It is decorated with masks on the sides. Branded Le Cachet France underneath. The pale yellow glaze is similar to Aptware pottery and this would make a lovely addition to a collection of antique ceramics.
