This impressive antique monastery table, similar to a farm table, hails from the eighteenth century, Italy, and is made from solid oak. Originally made for a monastery, this would make the perfect large dining table today suitable for eight people on average depending on the size of chairs or benches used for seating. Beneath its lovely rectangular top, the table is composed of two side legs with carved feet connected by an iron bar running across the center which would serve today as a footrest.
This table will become the centerpiece of any space it enters with its large and welcoming design. Its classic shape and design would welcome a myriad of styles of chairs: leather, fabric, wood or accentuated with long benches. The perfect way to bring a piece of European history and craft to your home.
