This impressive antique monastery table, similar to a farm table, hails from the eighteenth century, Italy, and is made from solid oak. Originally made for a monastery, this would make the perfect large dining table today suitable for eight people on average depending on the size of chairs or benches used for seating. Beneath its lovely rectangular top, the table is composed of two side legs with carved feet connected by an iron bar running across the center which would serve today as a footrest.
