Antique French oak dining table with iron base

A superb French oak dining table. The oak table top dates from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has been paired with a vintage iron base - it is solid iron not hollow so it is very heavy and stable. The thickness of the timber is lovely and it has been sanded to a smooth finish on the tops and curved sides. The handmade dowels and dovetail joins are of exceptional quality.
