A pair of nineteenth-century Directoire period shutters from a home in Burgundy. The arch at the top does not open and close. Retains original iron hardware - note the workmanship to the bracing. The weathered pale blue / grey patina is superb. These could be used as a headboard, transformed into a screen or installed as shutters once more.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
