Dating from the nineteenth century, this medium-sized ceramic preserving pot from the Savoy region of France has a cheerful pale yellow glaze on the inside and out. This would make a lovely plant cachepot or excellent way to display and contain kitchen tools. 

Note the wear to the glaze around the rim as seen in photos.
