A pretty French preserving pot from the late nineteenth century. Most likely made in the coastal town of Vallauris - famous for ceramics. It has yellow glaze with brown spots that are evocative of leaves. A lovely piece to display with a collection of antique French pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
