Antique French rectangular tray w/ glass lid, cloche 13¾ x 9½"

This rare, antique lidded platter dates from the mid-twentieth century. Patricia recalls buying it from a flea market in Paris. She bought it for her truffle classes because she was always looking for pieces too display fresh truffles in a beautiful way. When her students would arrive, she would take off the cloche and the aroma of truffles would be revealed!
