Dating from the early nineteenth century, this lovely set of four green vases are from Castelnaudary, France. They have a pretty hourglass shape. Two have a ruffled mouth, and two keep a consistent shape throughout. Note that one has a drainage hole in the bottom so a water-tight container needs to be used when displaying flowers.
A delightful way to display flowers and expand your collection of French countryside pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
