Dating from the early twentieth century, this superb three-shelf table was from a boutique. The timber is oak and the frame is brass. This would make a superb kitchen island with plenty of storage space for pots, pans and salad bowls underneath. It was possibly used in a silk fabric shop (like a drapers table) where rolls of fabric were stored under the counter top then rolled out and cut for customers.
