Antique French "tourne omelette" yellow-glazed footed plate 9"

SKU: 17030

US$204
A charming "tourne omelette" footed plate dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Most likely from Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, a village in Provence renowned for pottery. This terracotta piece features a pretty, pale yellow glaze throughout and would be a perfect way to display fruit with a touch of Provençal style. Note signs of aging of glaze as seen in photos.
