Antique French bistro ceiling light - opaline & brass

SKU: 16732

US$1,427
A superb and ornate two-light bar gasolier from the 1800s. It has two pretty white opaline glass shades and was originally gas-lit before being converted to electric. You can still see the knobs which were used to twist the gas on and off at the lowest part of each of the two arms.

The style of the piece is slightly Directoire with its ornamentation and motifs. A delight for any antique enthusiast looking to step back in time and transform their space into a French bar from the 1800s. Perfect to light a billiard's table or above a kitchen island.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
