This antique table oval dates from the early twentieth-century. The oval top can pivot to a vertical position for storing. 'Vigneron's tables' were used by winemaker's as dining tables during the autumn harvest so they were designed to be stored away over winter. The top is most likely pine and the frame is walnut. This would make a lovely entry table, dining table for a kitchen nook or a generous side table in a living room.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
