This broad mouthed pitcher dates from the early twentieth-century and is from Dieulefit. Pottery from Dieulefit is generally glazed ocher with a dark brown / black trim and handles or green with dark handles. A 'crachoir' is a spittoon - despite this less appealing use, it would make a gorgeous vase! Or why not use it when wine tasting.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
