Antique olive oil jar with green glaze & spout 18"

Dating from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century, this lovely terracotta jar was originally used for storing olive oil and is from Castelnaudary in southwest France (known for Cassoulet). There are two handles and a spout (chipped). A lovely large-scale piece to display with a collection of antique French pottery.
