Antique preserving pot - Garos et Bouillon w/ black patina 8¾"

This delightfully primitive pot is from Garos et Bouillon in South West France. It dates from the late eighteenth / early nineteenth century. Patterns were often spiked with the feather of a goose and is a way that the potter signed their work.
